Compared to the music store we wrote about last time, this TR Crandall, the guitar store located in East Village Manhattan is fairly new.
The owners are driven by their love to music and fine quality vintage instruments, and unlikely to the freshness of the store itself, their skills and experiences in buying, selling, trading, playing, and repairing guitars are over 35 years, fully developed.
The beautiful glass-made exterior of the store invites musicians walking the street, and once they are in, what’s waiting for them are friendly, kind, and music loving owners that help the customers.
Oh, needless to say, they were also super kind and allowed the Eco-Pick to be displayed right up on the front desk. 前回ご紹介したお店と比べ、マンハッタン イースト・ビレッジにある今回ご紹介のTR CRANDALL GUITARS は比較的新しいお店です。
このお店、二人のオーナーさんがいらっしゃいますが、二人とも音楽と上質のビンテージギターに魅せられてこのビジネスを始められたとのこと。
このお店の歴史とは対照的に、二人の楽器販売、購入、トレード、さらには修理や演奏の歴史は35年にもなり、彼がいかに経験の積んだ熟練であるかが伺えます。
ストリートに大きく面したガラス張りのエクステリアは、待ちゆくミュージシャン達ならだれでも思わず中に入りたくなってしまいますが、更にそんなお客さんたちをまっているのは親切でフレンドリーなオーナーの二人です。
